What a great night for a football game! Hunter HS wolverines played in the middle of Salt Lake City at Salt Lake High School West (now some 122 years as a public high school). The field and stands were decorated in black and red, but Hunter pretty much ruined the West High Homecoming 2012! (Follow the link for details.)
Our Hunter football team came onto the field in control of the game from the opening kickoff - scoring in the first 3 minutes! It was a great game and I am so proud of the kids for keeping their behavior in check and playing a well orchestrated game (only two penalties).
On a sad note -- Hunter's #1 running back/fullback, Hyrum Purcell, went out of the game with a serious knee injury. Hopefully, he'll be back soon -- he is amazing and the team needs him.
