Today was absolutely the longest work day in many days. It started out with snow-packed and slippery roads, power outages at intersections, and a slow drive to work. The radio kept me (and all of the other drivers) informed about road closures, airport closures, accidents and more. After 2, yes 2, hours to make an 11 mile drive, I was wiped out and not ready to get going on anything. The clocked ticked by and finally at 3:30 I wished everyone a nice evening and headed home. Oh my goodness!
